Pelayanan Sosial Lanjut Usia Terlantar Pasca Pandemi Covid-19 di Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Budi Pertiwi Kecamatan Lengkong Kota Bandung, Politeknik Kesejahteraan Sosial, SKRIPSI Program Sarjana Terapan Sosial, Agustus 2023, Dosen Pembimbing: Ellya Susilowati and Atirista Nainggolan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang bagaimana pelayanan sosial lanjut usia yang dilakukan pasca pandemi Covid-19 di Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Budi Pertiwi Kota Bandung yang aspek-aspeknya meliputi: 1) pemberian tempat tinggal yang layak; 2) jaminan hidup berupa makanan, pakaian, dan pemeliharaan kesehatan; 3) pengisian waktu luang 4) bimbingan mental, sosial, keterampilan, dan keagamaan; 5) pengurusan kematian. Jenis pendekatan dan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Penentuan subjek dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Pemeriksaan validitas data menggunakan triangulasi dan diskusi dengan pakar sejawat. Hasil penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelayanan sosial terhadap lanjut usia yang diberikan Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Budi Pertiwi Kota Bandung masih memiliki beberapa masalah, dari lima aspek yang diteliti, terdapat dua aspek yang belum berjalan optimal yakni pada pengisian waktu luang lanjut usia serta bimbingan mental, sosial, dan keterampilan. Berdasarkan analisis dan kebutuhan yang ditemukan, peneliti merekomendasikan sebuah program berupa “Peningkatan Kapasitas Petugas Panti Tentang Pelayanan Sosial Lanjut Usia di Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Budi Pertiwi Kota Bandung”. This study aims to decribe how elderly social services are carried out after the Covid-19 pandemic at the Tresna Werdha Budi Pertiwi Social Centre in Bandung City, whose aspects include: 1) providing a proper place to live; 2) life assurance in the form of food, clothing, and health care; 3) filling leisure time; 4) mental, social, skill, and religious guidance; 5) death management. The type of approach and method used in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Determination of subjects in this study using purposive sampling technique. The data collection techniques used were participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. Data validity checks used triangulation and discussion with peer experts. The results of this study were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that social services for the elderly provided by Tresna Werdha Budi Pertiwi Social Centre in Bandung City still have several problems, from the five aspects studied, there are two aspects that have not run optimally, namely filling elderly’s free time and mental, social, and skills guidance. Based on the analysis and needs found, the researcher recommends a program in the form of “Increasing the Capacity of Orphanage Officers Regarding Elderly Social Services at the Tresna Werdha Budi Pertiwi Social Centre in Bandung City”.
