Pengaruh Peer Attachment Pada Self Concept Anak Binaan Dengan Kasus Kejahatan Terhadap Ketertiban Di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak Bandung

Abstract

ABSTRAK TASYA FALIHATUL NADA AL GHANI, 19.02.031, Pengaruh Peer Attachment Pada Self Concept Anak Binaan Dengan Kasus Kejahatan Terhadap Ketertiban Di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak Bandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh peer attachment terhadap self concept anak binaan dengan kasus kejahatan terhadap ketertiban di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak Bandung mulai dari aspek komunikasi, kepercayaan dan keterasingan pada variabel peer attachment dan aspek fisik, sosial, moral dan psikis pada variabel self concept. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner dan studi dokumentasi. Responden penelitian ini adalah anak binaan dengan kasus kejahatan terhadap ketertiban dengan menggunakan sensus sebanyak 29 orang. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berpedoman kepada Skala Peer Attachment ( The Inventory Of Parent and Peer Attachment) milik Armsden & Greenberg (1987) dan Skala Self Concept (Tennesse Self Concept Scale) yang dikembangkan oleh William H. Fitts (1965). Instrumen tersebut telah teruji valid dan reliabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa variabel Peer Attachment memperoleh perhitungan tertinggi pada kategori sedang sebanyak 20 orang atau 69%. Variabel Self Concept memperoleh perhitungan tertinggi pada kategori sedang sebanyak 22 orang atau 77%. Hasil uji hipotesis dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pengaruh peer attachment terhadap self concept adalah sebesar 0,64 atau 40,9%. Dan sisanya sebesar 59,1% self concept dipengarui oleh faktor-faktor lainnya diluar dari faktor peer attachment. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, program yang diusulkan yaitu “Peningkatan Konsep Diri Melalui Prestasi Pada Anak Binaan LPKA Bandung” yaitu sebuah kegiatan berkelompok dengan menggunakan metode Group Work dan Case Work. This study aims to determine the effect of peer attachment on the self concept of foster children with cases of crimes against order in the Bandung Special Development Institute for Children starting from aspects of communication, trust and alienation on peer attachment variables and physical, social, moral and psychological aspects on self concept variables. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods, data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation studies. Respondents of this study were foster children with cases of crimes against order using a census of 29 people. The data collection instruments used are guided by Armsden & Greenberg's (1987) Peer Attachment Scale (The Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment) and the Self Concept Scale (Tennesse Self Concept Scale) developed by William H. Fitts (1965). The instrument has been tested valid and reliable. The results showed that the Peer Attachment variable obtained the highest calculation in the moderate category as many as 20 people or 69%. The Self Concept variable obtained the highest calculation in the moderate category as many as 22 people or 77%. The results of hypothesis testing from this study indicate that the effect of peer attachment on self-concept is 0,64 or 40.9%. And the remaining 59,1% of self-concept is influenced by other factors outside of the peer attachment factor. Based on the results of the study, the proposed program is "Improving Self-Concept Through Achievement in Children Assisted by LPKA Bandung", which is a group activity using the Group Work and Case Work methods.
