Pemerintah Kota Cimahi memiliki program pemberdayaan untuk para pemilik Usaha, Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM), salah satunya Program Wirausaha Baru (WUB). Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui dan menggali bentuk kegiatan pemberdayaan para pelaku Usaha Mikro yang berada di Kelurahan Cibeber, Kecamatan Cimahi Selatan, Kota Cimahi. Secara khusus penelitian ini meliputi aspek pengelolaan sumberdaya, pemberian pengetahuan, bentuk keterampilan, dan partisipasi. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif pendekatan deskriptif. Informan menggunakan purposive sampling yang berjumlah informan 4. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan trianggulasi sumber, dan trianggulasi teknik. Teknik analisis data menggunakan mereduksi data, penyajian data, dan pemeriksaan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan pelaksanaan pemberdayaan pelaku usaha mikro melalui program Wirausaha Baru (WUB) yang berada di Kelurahan Cibeber sudah berjalan dengan baik, namun pada aspek partisipasi yang dirasa perlu untuk diperbaiki dikarenakan kurangnya partisipasi peserta saat kegiatan pelatihan yang akibatnya peserta kegiatan pelatihan mandiri harus mengambil dari sepuluh cadangan pelaku usaha, dan terbatasnya waktu pelatihan mandiri, akibatnya masih kurang untuk belajar lebih dalam tentang UMKM. maka peneliti memberikan usulan program Peningkatan Kapasitas Pelaku Usaha Mikro dalam Kegiatan Pelatihan Mandiri.

The Cimahi City Government has an empowerment program for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) owners, one of which is the New Entrepreneurship Program (NEP). The aim of the research is to find out and explore the forms of empowerment activities for micro-enterprises in Cibeber Village, South Cimahi District, Cimahi City. In particular, this research covers aspects of resource management, imparting knowledge, forms of skills, and participation. Research using descriptive qualitative approach method. Informants used purposive sampling with a total of 4 informants. Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Checking the validity of the data uses source triangulation and technical triangulation. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation, and examination of conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the implementation of empowering micro entrepreneurs through the New Entrepreneurship program (NEP) in the Cibeber Village has been going well, but in the aspect of participation that is deemed necessary to be improved due to the lack of participation of participants during training activities as a result the participants in independent training activities have to take of the ten reserves for business actors, and limited time for self-training, as a result there is still not enough time to learn more about MSMEs. then the researchers proposed a program for Increasing the Capacity of Micro Business Actors in Independent Training Activities.
