Abstract

Dukungan Sosial Teman Sebaya dalam Membangun Kepercayaan Diri Anak di Panti Sosial Asuhan Anak Putra Utama 3 Duren Sawit Kota Jakarta Timur, Dibimbing oleh Susilawati dan Arini Dwi Deswanti Dukungan sosial teman sebaya bagi anak sangat penting karena dapat digunakan untuk memahami interaksi anak dengan lingkungan sekitarnya sehingga panti dapat memfasilitasi dan memperkuat perkembangan kepercayaan diri anak melalui lingkungan anak yang positif. Dukungan teman sebaya dalam membangun kepercayaan diri mencakup 1) dukungan penilaian, 2) dukungan nyata, 3) dukungan penghargaan diri dan 4) dukungan emosional. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan survei deskriptif yang dilakukan kepada 39 orang sampel dari 64 populasi anak asuh di Panti Sosial Asuhan Anak Putra Utama 3. Sampel dipilih dengan cara stratified random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner dukungan sosial teman yang diadaptasi dari Instrumen Intepersonal Support Evaluation List (ISEL) Cohen dan Hobberman (1983). Selain itu dilakukan pengumpulan data menggunakan studi dokumentasi untuk mendapatkan data pendukung terkait data anak asuh dan profil Panti. Uji validitas yang digunakan dalam penelitian menggunakan validitas muka. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian terhadap 39 responden menunjukkan bahwa aspek dukungan penilaian sebanyak 28 oralng (67,24%) terma l suk da l lalm ka l tegori seda l ng daln seba l nyalk 11 oralng (32,76%) terma l suk dalla l m kaltegori tinggi. Pada aspek dukungan nyata memperoleh sebanyak 1 oralng (1,71%) terma l suk keda l lalm ka l tegori renda l h, 23 oralng (53,73%) termalsuk kedalla l m ka l tegori sedalng daln 15 ora l ng (44,56%) terma l suk keda l lalm ka l tegori tinggi. Aspek dukungan penghargaan diri menunjukkan sebanyak 1 ora l ng (1,71%) beralda l palda l kaltegori renda l h, lallu 17 oralng (53,73%) termalsuk kaltegori sedalng daln 21 oralng (44,56%) bera l dal pa l dal ka l tegori tinggi. Aspek-aspek dukungan berdasarkan usia responden menunjukkan kategori sedang, namun aspek yang memiliki skor sedang tertinggi pada usia 15-17 tahun dalam aspek dukungan penghargaan diri. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, peneliti mengajukan program Sahabat untuk Anak (SANAK) dengan menggunakan metode Social Group Work dengan teknik Educational Group (Kelompok Pendidikan). Peer social support for children is very important because it can be used to understand children's interactions with the surrounding environment so that parlors can facilitate and strengthen the development of children's self-confidence through a positive child environment. Peer support in building self-confidence includes 1) assessment support, 2) real support, 3) self-esteem support and 4) emotional support. The method used was quantitative research with a descriptive survey conducted on 39 samples from a population of 64 foster children at the Putra Utama 3 Social Orphanage. The sample was selected by stratified random sampling. Data collection used a friend's social support questionnaire adapted from Cohen and Hobberman's (1983) Intepersonal Support Evaluation List (ISEL) instrument. In addition, data collection was carried out using documentation studies to obtain supporting data related to foster child data and the Orphanage profile. The validity test used in the study used face validity. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. The results of the study of 39 respondents showed that the assessment support aspect as many as 28 oralsng (67.24%) were included in the moderate category and 11 oralsng (32.76%) were included in the high category. In the aspect of real support, 1 person (1.71%) was categorized as low, 23 people (53.73%) were categorized as moderate and 15 people (44.56%) were categorized as high. The aspect of self-esteem support showed that 1 person (1.71%) was in the low category, then 17 people (53.73%) were in the medium category and 21 people (44.56%) were in the high category. The emotional support aspect showed that 29 patients (70.03%) were categorized as moderate and 10 patients (29.97%) were categorized as high. The aspects of support based on the age of the respondents showed a moderate category, but the aspect that had the highest moderate score at the age of 15-17 years in the aspect of self-esteem support. Based on the results of the study, the researcher proposed the Sahabat untuk Anak (SANAK) program using the Social Group Work method with the Educational Group technique.
