Abstract

ENRIAWATI IKA DYAH SAPUTRI, 19.04.127. Empowerment of Socio Economic Vulnerable Women in Sawahan Village, Ngemplak District, Boyolali Regency. Dwi Yuliani and Ayi Haryani. This study aims to find out about the process of empowering socio-economically vulnerable women in Sawahan Village, Ngemplak District, Boyolali Regency which includes the characteristics of socio-economically vulnerable women in Sawahan Village and the implementation of the seven stages of empowerment, namely the preparation stage, the review stage, the planning stage, the plan formulation stage action, implementation stage, evaluation stage and termination stage. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data sources in this study consisted of primary data sources and secondary data sources obtained by collecting data using purposive sampling techniques. Informants in this research amounted to fifteen people. Data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews, observation, documentation studies and focus group discussions. The results of the study showed that there were 39 socioeconomically vulnerable women who were members of empowerment and consisted of an age range of 33 to 54 years. The empowerment of socio-economically vulnerable women has carried out six of the seven stages of empowerment. The stage that is not implemented is the termination stage. In the implementation of empowerment, all socio-economically vulnerable women are involved in all processes according to their respective potentials. However, overall, in the implementation of empowerment, several problems were found, such as some members who were getting bored and often did not participate in activities and there was no further program development. Based on these problems, the researcher proposes a program to solve the problem is “Program Perempuan Bersedia” or “Program Perempuan Bergerak Siap Mandiri dan Sejahtera”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengenai proses pemberdayaan perempuan rawan sosial ekonomi di Desa Sawahan Kecamatan Ngemplak Kabupaten Boyolali yang meliputi karakteristik perempuan rawan sosial ekonomi Desa Sawahan serta pelaksanaan tujuh tahapan pemberdayaan, yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pengkajian, tahap perencanaan, tahap formulasi rencana aksi, tahap implementasi, tahap evaluasi dan tahap terminasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder yang diperoleh dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah lima belas orang orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah wawancara mendalam, observasi, studi dokumentasi dan focus group discussion. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 39 perempuan rawan sosial ekonomi yang tergabung dalam pemberdayaan dengan rentang usia 33 hingga 54 tahun. Pemberdayaan perempuan rawan sosial ekonomi telah melaksanakan enam dari tujuh tahap pemberdayaan. Adapun tahap yang tidak dilaksanakan adalah tahap terminasi. Dalam pelaksanaan pemberdayaan, seluruh perempuan rawan sosial ekonomi dilibatkan dalam semua proses sesuai dengan potensi masing-masing. Namun secara keseluruhan, dalam pelaksanaan pemberdayaan ditemukan beberapa permasalahan seperti beberapa anggota yang mulai jenuh dan sering tidak mengikuti kegiatan dan belum ada pengembangan program lanjutan. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka peneliti mengusulkan program demi memecahkan masalah tersebut, yaitu “Program Perempuan Bersedia” atau “Program Perempuan Bergerak Siap Mandiri dan Sejahtera”.
