Abstract

The Influence of Mindset Therapy (Motivational Interviewing and The Decision Fostering Intervention) on Increasing Disciplined Behavior of Beneficiaries in the Satuan Pelayanan Griya Ramah Anak Bogor. The presence of cognitive distortions in the individual’s mind can affect the motives for behavior that does not comply with the applicable rules, in other words, called undiscipline. The study aims to obtain an empirical picture and analyze the impact of the implementation of engineering therapy results, namely Mindset therapy (Motivational Interviewing and The Decision Fostering Intervention) on the improvement of disciplinary behavior. The processes within mindset therapy can help individuals explore and correct cognitive distortions, think for behavioral change and arouse motivation, and support individuals to change. The subjects of the study were beneficiaries in the Satuan Pelayanan Griya Ramah Anak Bogor, three teenagers with the age range of 16 – 17 years who have problems with undisciplinary behavior. Non-disciplinary behavior is the target behavior in mindset therapy, which is the behaviors of not following the activities of worship, sleeping during social guidance, and not following evening learning activities. The research was conducted using the quantitative approach of single subject design with reversal design A-B-A. Data collection techniques include observation techniques, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation studies. The validity test of the questionnaire uses face-to-face validity tests and statistics. The reliability test uses the alpha-Cronbach statistical test, while the recording of events is done by calculating percentage agreement. Measurement is carried out against target behavior under the assumption of a decrease in target behavior showing improvement in disciplinary behaviors and through questionnaires given to three subjects of the study by comparing questionnaire answer scores before and after intervention to know the level of understanding of the subject of the research about discipline behaviors. The results of the study showed that mindset therapy had an effect on a decrease in targeted behavior, indicating an increase in disciplinary behavior in the three subjects. This is demonstrated through the tendency of graph orientation and the results of data analysis both in conditions and between conditions of the observation data versus target behavior, as well as the presence of an increase in quantitative values or questionnaire answer scores between before and after the intervention of three subjects of the study. Adanya distorsi kognitif di dalam pikiran individu dapat memengaruhi motif untuk berperilaku yang tidak sesuai dengan aturan yang berlaku, dengan kata lain disebut dengan ketidakdisiplinan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran empiris dan melakukan analisis tentang pengaruh implementasi terapi hasil rekayasa yakni terapi Mindset (Motivational Interviewing and The Decision Fostering Intervention) terhadap peningkatan perilaku disiplin. Proses-proses di dalam terapi Mindset dapat membantu individu untuk eksplorasi dan memperbaiki distorsi kognitif, berpikir untuk perubahan perilaku dan membangkitan motivasi serta mendukung individu untuk berubah. Subjek penelitian merupakan penerima manfaat di Satuan Pelayanan Griya Ramah Anak Bogor yakni tiga remaja dengan rentang usia 16 – 17 tahun yang memiliki permasalahan perilaku tidak disiplin. Perilaku tidak disiplin yang menjadi perilaku sasaran di dalam terapi Mindset yakni perilaku tidak mengikuti kegiatan sholat berjamaah, tidur saat bimbingan sosial, dan tidak mengikuti kegiatan belajar malam. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif metode single subject design dengan desain reversal A-B-A. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, pemberian kuesioner, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Uji validitas kuesioner menggunakan uji validitas muka dan statistik. Uji reliabilitas kuesioner menggunakan uji statistik alpha cronbach, sedangkan pencatatan kejadian dengan menghitung percent agreement. Pengukurun dilakukan terhadap perilaku sasaran dengan asumsi adanya penurunan perilaku sasaran menunjukkan peningkatan perilaku disiplin dan melalui kuesioner yang diberikan kepada tiga subjek penelitian dengan membandingkan skor jawaban kuesioner ketika sebelum dan setelah intervensi untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman subjek penelitian tentang perilaku disiplin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terapi Mindset berpengaruh terhadap penurunan perilaku sasaran (target behavior) sehingga mengindikasikan adanya peningkatan perilaku disiplin dari tiga subjek penelitian. Hal ini ditunjukkan melalui kecenderungan arah grafik dan hasil analisis data baik dalam kondisi maupun antar kondisi dari data observasi terhadap perilaku sasaran, serta adanya peningkatan nilai kuantitatif atau skor jawaban kuesioner antara sebelum dengan setelah intervensi dari tiga subjek penelitian.
