SITI AINUN KHOIRUNNISA: Attitudes of Community Citizens towards Moneylender Practices “Bank Emok" in Cililin Village, Cililin District, West Bandung Regency. Supervisors: Ramli and Nurrohmi
Attitude is an evaluative response, namely a response that will only arise if the individual is faced with a stimulus that requires an individual reaction. This study aims to obtain an empirical description of the attitudes of community citizens towards the practice of "Bank Emok" moneylenders in Cililin Village, Cililin District, West Bandung Regency, including respondent characteristics, cognitive aspects, affective aspects, and conative aspects. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The population that was targeted in this study was the people in Cililin Village who were heads of families with a total of 3589 people. Sampling used a simple random sampling technique to produce a sample of 97 respondents. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire and a documentation study using a Likert scale measuring instrument. This research used a face validity test and reliability test with Alpha Cronbach. The results showed that people's attitudes towards the practice of "Bank Emok" moneylenders were in the moderate category with a total score of 6,523. Cognitive aspects have a total score of 2,098, affective aspects have a total score of 2,256, and conative aspects have a total score of 2,169. The problem analysis shows that in each aspect there is an indicator with the lowest total score. The indicator that has the lowest total score in each aspect has problems related to the cognitive aspects of the community regarding the practice of "Bank Emok" moneylenders. Based on the results of this study, the researchers proposed a program "Building Community Capacity about the Dangers of "Bank Emok" Moneylender Practices through Counseling and Formation of Savings and Loans Cooperatives in Cililin Village, Cililin District, West Bandung Regency". The program proposed by the researchers has gone through due diligence using a SWOT analysis which aims to increase public knowledge, understanding, and awareness about the dangers of “Bank Emok” moneylenders.

Sikap merupakan suatu respon evaluatif, yaitu respon yang hanya akan timbul apabila individu dihadapkan pada suatu stimulus yang menghendaki adanya reaksi individual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran empiris mengenai sikap warga masyarakat terhadap praktik rentenir “Bank Emok” di Desa Cililin Kecamatan Cililin Kabupaten Bandung Barat yang meliputi karakteristik responden, aspek kognitif, aspek afektif dan aspek konatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi yang dijadikan sasaran dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat di Desa Cililin yang merupakan kepala keluarga dengan jumlah 3589 orang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling sehingga menghasilkan sampel sebanyak 97 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuisioner dan studi dokumentasi dengan alat ukur skala likert. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji validitas muka dan uji reliabilitas dengan Alpha Cronbach. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap warga masyarakat terhadap praktik rentenir “Bank Emok” berada pada kategori sedang dengan skor total sebesar 6.523. Aspek kognitif memiliki skor total 2.098, aspek afektif memiliki skor total 2.256 dan aspek konatif memiliki skor total 2.169. Analisis masalah menunjukkan bahwa pada setiap aspek terdapat indikator dengan skor total paling rendah. Indikator yang memiliki skor total paling rendah pada setiap aspek memiliki permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan aspek kognitif warga masyarakat terhadap praktik rentenir “Bank Emok”. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, peneliti mengusulkan program “Peningkatan Kapasitas Masyarakat tentang Bahaya Praktik Rentenir “Bank Emok” melalui Penyuluhan dan Pembentukan Koperasi Simpan Pinjam di Desa Cililin Kecamatan Cililin Kabupaten Bandung Barat”. Program yang diusulkan peneliti telah melalui uji kelayakan dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai bahaya praktik rentenir “Bank Emok”.
